cameras, but I haven't used either of them. Eventually (if I actually do
anymore 2x2 stereo, or if my wife wants to do any), I intend to ask a friend
to return the Pentax K-1000SE I lent her so that I can twin it with my ME
Super (the only camera with electronics I've ever owned, and I only got it a
couple of years ago).<<<<

RBT chose the Ricoh KR10M for their X2. KR10Ms and the models that have now
replaced them are relatively inexpensive and easily coupled by soldering a
2.5mm jack plug to each end of a twin core cable. Just plug into each camera
and one button fires both cameras.

If you want a higher level of sync for action shots, then take off the tops
of the cameras and parallel the 3 connections on the shutter button and also
parallel the batteries - 4 wires altogether as one of the wires to the
shutter button connects direct to the battery. The 4 wire connection allows
the "wake up" feature of these cameras to be initiated by a gentle touch of
the shutter release button on either camera. The 4 connections can also be
achieved by connecting the 3 shutter button connections together and using
the twin rig bar as the other battery connection - my KR10M twin rig works
this way.
