**** Interesting! Maybe you could scan your slide inside a slide
arrangement and put it on the internet to view? We aren't trying to see the
slide itself, but if you can manage that too, it would be a bonus. :-)
So if the finished size itself weren't a barrier to usage and every
projection situation could handle MF sized mounts, you would mass stamp MF
mounts with a custom hole to allow snap-in mounting of a mounted 2x2?
