This is especially true if you are willing and able to fly on
TWA. For several years it has been possible to fly TWA at
20% less than any other airline by purchasing tickets through
Global Discount Travelers in Las Vegas (1-800-497-6678). That
same deal is now available online at http://lowestfare.com
(I don't know whether Global still has that arrangement or not.)
TWA does not fly to Green Bay, so this only helps if you are
willing to fly to Milwaukee instead of Green Bay.
As an example, conventioneers from Seattle could save about $100
per ticket flying TWA to Milwaukee. Savings from Austin are
about $85/ticket. Even from Atlanta, which has a low RT fare
of $214 to Green Bay, you can save almost $70 using the TWA
to Milwaukee option.
Travelers from London could possibly save over $250 per ticket
using TWA to Milwaukee, compared to generally available fares
to Green Bay. Other international attendees may find similar
savings.
Disclosure: I have not affiliation with TWA, lowestfare.com, or
Global. I just like to see everyone save money whenever
possible!
