Then you have no problem!!! Subscribing in all lists will get you
all the messages, one at a time, and let you do whatever you please
with them. Where the messages are coming from should be of no
significance to you. Why do you then like it *much better* if
everything is coming from the BIG LIST?

I have no problem with these smaller & focused lists. Here is how
they are created: Someone has a deep interest in a specialized
subject that feels is not covered well in the Big List. So he
decides to create a smaller specialized list to encourage discussions
in this specialized area of interest. If he can get enough people
to participate (including some who are not and do not want to be
in the Big List) then he has served a purpose. If not, then this
would be a dead list and the experiment has failed.
Those who do not support the smaller lists, either because of
personal conviction or because it is not convenient for them to
participate in more than one list, they can go ahead and 1) not
join the smaller lists, 2) post everything in the Big List. And
see what happens...
