P3D Re: Looking for Realist SN & date data
I have received a couple of replies to my request for date, feature
and serial numbers on the Stereo Realist. It turns out that the date
inside the lens board is not as common as I thought. This is found in
maybe 1:10 Realists.
Here is a brief sketch of the data so far:
SN Lenses Initials & Date
-----------------------------------------------
A 2xxx Ilex
A 3xxx Ilex
A68xxx 3.5 DW EW 4/53
A81xxx 3.5 DW 11/53 (info from Zak)
A89xxx 3.5 DW EW 11/53
side:2xxx 2.8 DW LH 4/54
I would be interested to see what is the highest SN in an Realist
with Ilex lenses (I seem to recall that I once had an Ilex with
SN around 9000). Also, who has the earliest Realist (anyone under
1000?)

Thank you!
