It turns out that you can put digitally put VM slide pairs next to each
other on the top and bottom (2 pairs) of a single 35mm slide. You can then
output multiple pin-registered copies of the image and have every other pair
line up perfectly on the film cutter. (This is done for multiple copies of
each pair.)However, determining exact image size, placement and getting 1:1
registered output is fairly tricky! A high-quality pin-registered film
recorder is a must.
