P3D Stereo silent movie pictures

>From time to time I have seen stereo pictures shot on the set of the 1923
Lon Chaney film, Hunchback of Notre Dame, and also pictures from several of
C.B. DeMille's films (the latter apparently taken by DeMille, who was
reportedly a stereo photography enthusiast). But recently on the silent
movie usenet group someone suggested that it was a fairly common practice
to release stereo publicity stills from silent movies as premiums, much
like trading cards. I can't imagine that the practice was all THAT common
because I've never seen or heard of it before, but I wonder if anyone here
has seen any kind of stereo "trading cards" from silent movies?
