P3D Blurry VM images

Hi everybody. Long time, no talk. I hope somebody
can help me. I recently purchased a group of old VM
reels. The reels are all in excellent condition as
far as warpage and bubbling are concerned. But, many
of them have quite blurry images. I am wondering if
other people that have these same reels also have
blurry images. I am listing below the reels I have
found to be blurry:
64-Island of Oahu
81 Niagara Falls (very blurry)
82-Niagara Falls
137-Washington, D.C.
156-New York City
158-Rockefeller Center
160-St. Augustine
161-Silver Springs
181-Colonial Williamsburg
186-Palm Springs
277-Autumn Foliage (VERY BLURRY)
306-Mount McKinley
309-Eskimos
328-San Antonio
333-Chicago
338-Lookout Mountain
350-Philadelphia (VERY BLURRY)
As you can see, the list is fairly long. Didn't the
photographers who took these pictures know how to
focus a camera? Or has age done something to these
images to cause them to become blurry? I hope someone
can share their knowledge with me about these reels!
