I have a question concerning color qualities of light as captured by
cameras and recording media.
I have not followed the discussion completely and if this has been
addressed, please someone
refer me to the answer if already posted. My wife has an illuminated
makeup mirror that has a switch
for different kinds of light so that she can apply makeup for the kind of
light in which she will be seen --
"Day" which adds a light purple-blue filter to the bare florescent tube,
"Office" which adds a greenish filter to the bare florescent tube,
"Evening" which adds a faint pink filter to the bare florescent tube,
"Home" which adds nothing to the bare florescent tube.
My question is- has anyone experimented with taking photos of objects of
several colors under such
filtered light sources? How about using different film? VCR?
