Yes, I am going to. But before I do I want publicly thank David
Stuckey for not only giving me space on his page, but doing ALL
the work from layout to scanning the images. He actually did this on
his own and surprised me with it.

The first two images are the ones that I had accepted in the
Southern Cross Exhibition (Sunset on Mt. Rainier and American
Kestrel Wood Carving). The last four are my entries in the first
round of the CUSP (close-up) Folio. One of those images (Thin Ice)
is the one that won Best New Exhibitor at the Hollywood Exhibition.

Now on to the question:

David Stuckey was one of the judges at this year's Southern Cross.
He told me that when the image of the Kestrel was projected the
judges didn't know if it was real or not (they do not have the luxury of
hearing the image title). Would it make a difference in judging if the
subject was alive instead of a wood carving? Would it make a
difference if the judges knew that when they were judging the
image?

The image Bat In A Tree is also not alive. It is a stone sculpture. If
you did not already know this does it now change how you view the
image or what you think of it?

I would really appreciate feed back on these questions from
everyone as well as any other comments on the images on "my"
new web page. One caveat: although David Stuckey has done a
wonderful job on scanning the images, they are a whole lot different
when viewed in a quality hand held viewer.

Here is the URL again for those that missed it:

Once again, my undying gratitude to David Stuckey.

That's all for now,
