P3D Re: Ghosting

Half a dozen slides in a group of 100 is not bad... As to why this
is happening, here is some thought for food:
- Ghosting is common in high contrast situations (white object surrounded
by dark object)
- It is worse when the contrasty object is at infinity. At screen
level there is no ghosting, by definition.
- Some brands of film (like old Kodachrome or certain batches of
Kodachrome) tend to ghost more than others
- I assume that you have checked your projector's polarizing filters
and they are still strong and also that your screen is OK.
If the ghosting in these few slides bothers you a lot, you can try
remounting them, trying to put the contrasty object at window level.
This might screw up other things but will take care of the ghosting.
This is all I can think other than calling an exorcist (sp?) to take care
of them ghosts...
