P3D It's Dinner Time!

Time flies, doesn't it?

This Friday is the *third Friday", so stereo enthusiasts from around the
planet will converge in Manhattan to eat a nice meal, pass around some
stereo photos, and have a nice conversation.  It's something we started
after having some really fun meals at the NA convention in Richmond.  Food
and photos, it's a great combination.

I gave a presentation on medium format stereo at the last NYSS meeting, and
I will have some new medium format slides to share.  I can also answer any
questions you might have thought of.

At last month's Stereo Dinner we had a nice big crowd.  A number of folks
brought along stereo views to share, and a couple unusual cameras as well.
It was a blast.  Why don't you join us?

We always meet at La Cocina, at 85th and Broadway.  They make the *best*
mexican food in Manhattan.  It's swanky looking, not a cheap joint, but the
prices are very reasonable.  Several good, big meals under ten bucks.

I know the owners, so we've got a sweet deal.  We have plenty of room to
spread out--pretty unusual in Manhattan.  We usually get a section to
ourselves, so it's easy to hear and speak.  Ask the hostess for the stereo
people.

Join us this Friday at La Cocina, 217 West 85th Street, just off Broadway
in Manhattan.  We'll be there starting at 6:30pm until 9pm or later,
so stop by anytime.  There's no set schedule, so you can go or come when
you like.
