Not exactly true, apparently.  I think the original poster said  that it 
was removed from the Spring merchandising order or something, didn't he?
That's different than "discontinuing"...

I stopped into a local Ritz yesterday, and it seemed true that the cardboard-
packaged 3D Magic cameras and small dislpay card (that have been on the peg hook for 
3 years :-)  ) were no longer there- removed by merchandising rearranging.

What I did discover was that there was still indeed a one-use 3 lens 3D camera 
there at the store- moved up behind the register, still on a peg hook, but now in
a plastic sealed package rather than the old cardboard box.  It is the 
"3D Magic Plus", for 17.95, with built-in flash, takes 16 pictures.  So while it 
seems true that the old-packaged item was removed from a certain area of 
merchandising, brandy-new ones *are* still available, in a new package, in a 
new spot in the store.
