Glimpse ( the search engine used here because it's CHEAP!) uses
a semicolon (;) for AND operations, and a comma (,) for OR operations.
However note that it's somewhat line oriented in certain situations -
if the words don't appear on the same line in the message, GLIMPSE
may miss the message. You can also specify "fuzzy" matching if
you are not sure of the exact spelling. On the previous version I
had "near" and "far" matching so that if you wanted something specifically
regardin Realist light leaks, it had to find the words fairly close
together, otherwise they could be any distance apart in the digest.
Glimpse changed in the new version, but I still may be able to
re-write the code to handle that.
The best stragegy if you are looking for example for topics
regarding light leaks in the Realist would be first:
leaks;Realist
followed by
light;leaks or
light;leak
followed by
Realist
(the last will result in a TON of hits!).
