After logging 36 more Realist cameras (that's how many I found around my
house!!!) I am able to confine this transition between serial numbers
43,000 and 51,000. Anyone with a Realist *between* 43,000 and 51,000
please let me know what kind of film advance your camera has (OLD =
silent, NEW = "clicking")
Still looking for any Realist with SN higher than 82,000 that *does not
have* the double exposure prevention button in the back. (Note: Many
Realists with lower SN's have it but it was certainly added later...
for $7.50 David White would add it to any Realist... so I am looking for
those who did not have it done to find out when was this feature
introduced)
Thank you!
George Themelis
PS. Ron Zakowski can do both upgrades to any Realist today! He upgraded
the silent to clicking advance to my Ilex Realist when the camera's
advance failed two years ago...
