You'll have to ask Alan how many he plans to make (and how soon), but
the above-referenced page says it is "Now available as a product on a
very limited basis".  Price is $285 including shipping.  This includes
the built-in fluorescent light source, the adapters for both Realist and
2x2x2 format, and a nifty little tweezer to make removal of Realist
slides much easier on the fingers (not needed for 2x2 format).
