Sadly, this all stems from a lack of understanding as to how stereoscopy
works.  All these anecdotes "prove" is that there's a lot of education
remaining to be done as to how binocular vision and stereopsis work.

Rather than making fun of them, shouldn't we be educating them
ourselves?  A lot of folks on this list already are going the extra mile
to do so.  What if we all did?
