P3D Fast Film?
>when they allowed tripods with Realist and 10ASA
>Kodachrome..The diaramas look great even today since
It's hard to believe we ever used a 10 speed film - although
needless to say, the grain (what grain?) was invisible. I recall
using Kodalith when working in an ad agency darkroom - I think it
had a speed of something like 6 (but no gray scale to speak of).
We used carbon arcs at a distance of about 18" to expose it
in 8*10 inch sheets. It was a vacuum sheet holder - you cranked
the rods together and then pulled them back apart to strike the
arc. Bright!
