the Homeos Pocket Stereoscope was a transposing viewer, and operated much
like the later verascope versions. Film was left in strips and transported
through the viewer by pulling a rod. Original film could be copied using the
Homeos Tireuse (electric printer) onto an even longer spool of film, thereby
giving you a spool of 100 stereo pairs which could be carried in your pocket
along with the stereoscope itself. I do recall a package of verascope items
selling on eBay awhile back, including what i believe was a Homeos Tireuse
(or at least parts of one). Perhaps the winning bidder might see this post
and shed some more light on the subject!
