Boris,
I'm just curious, what would you get if you tried the following variation of your color anaglyph:
L image grayscale --> R channel of anaglyph
R image G channel --> G channel of anaglyph
R image *grayscale* --> B channel of anaglyph
I've also always wondered what would happen of someone tried to combine the field-sequential and anaglyph
techniques in one system for video or cinema - i.e., alternating anaglyph (alterglyph {TM} :-)
even video field or movie film frame -->
left image in red over right image in cyan
odd video field or movie film frame -->
left image in cyan over right image in red
I would expect a system with much less retinal rivalry
than anaglyph, and much less flickering that simple
field-sequential 3D.
