P3D Qualex still does Realist slides?

Howdy,

Has there been a very recent change on the availability of Qualex
(spelling) developing and mounting of  Realist format Kodachrome 35 mm
stereo slides?

On June 2 (1999) I got a  roll of stereo slides sucessfully developed
and mounted where I always have done thru the neighborhood chainstore,
TARGET, which uses Qualex.

But on June 19 I left two more rolls for processing/mounting, marked on
the envelope as always "Stereo Kodachrome Slides Mounted". Returning
week later to pick up the slides they were marked Processing Only and
were unmounted roll of negatives (positives?). A call to the TARGET
hotline got me a phone clerk whose supervisor told her that the reason
for the non mounting was that Qualex doesn't provide that service
anymore.

I got the store clerk to remail the negatives (positives) in again to
try and see if they come back mounted this time because I suspect that
Qualex still does mount stereo slides, and am now waiting to see what
happens.
