I have been using the service regularly by sending mailers directly to
the Fair Lawn NJ location. I think you will be able to confirm when you
call that they are still providing the service. I ran into a similar
problem in the past when I tried to send slide film to NJ via the local
Target store, who exclusively use the Minneapolis lab location. Although
I had the film clearly marked to be sent on to NJ, the people at the
Minneapolis lab were so convinced that the service was no longer offered
even in NJ (as they assured me on the phone, 5 minutes after NJ had told
me to the contrary) that they sent it back to the store twice with notes
to that effect. 

Recently I sent in a number of rolls to NJ and got all of them back in
stereo mounts except for *one roll* that came with a note saying that
they do not offer mounting of nonstandard formats. In other words, not
everyone even at the NJ lab knows that they still have a stereo mounting
department, so don't necessarily believe it if you get a negative
answer. Ask again. Generally I have had good luck with them, and the
quality of the mounting has been better lately with very few mismounts
(pseudos etc), although certainly not precision mounting.
