How cold is cold? It sounds like your camera may need a clean and lube, as
the lubricants age, they will become gummy, you'll notce this most at the
slower speeds. I regularly use my (Zak'ed) Realist at -20c. At these
temperatures I worry a bit about the springs breaking- anyone have any
words of wisdom on this? The camera does sound and feel a bit different at
these temperatures.
Anyone have a cold weather record for the realist? I think -25c is about
as cold as I've ever used it..
