On behalf of Berezin's efforts with this viewer, I would add...

Look at it here: http://www.berezin.com/3d/SuperSharp.htm

Unlike some other 2x2 viewers (such as the rather costly de Wijs "Easy
STL,"), the SuperSharp will show _vertical_ orientation full frame 35mm
slides. Something I cannot do without.

Furthermore, also unlike some other 2x2 viewers I've tried (the medium
priced van Ekeren STL), the Pinsharp has a diffuser that is sufficiently
far back from the slide, that dust on the diffuser does not much interfere
with your view. Helping also is a lens placement at or slightly beyond the
actual lens f.l., so that the diffusers are safely beyond the focus plane
(that's how I see it, but my knowledge of optics is not so great). And the
diffuser is more efficient than most I've seen (brighter).

Plus I will re-emphasize that I like the small size and light weight of the
viewer. I can carry it in my pocket if I need to. You can't do that with
any other achromatic slide viewer I know of!

I will qualify my praise for this viewer only with the statement that I
wish the lenses were bigger! I would like a wider _apparent_ field of
view, to more easily see the full extent of the slide.

All things considered, it's a good value for me. I can confidently state
I've not seen anything better suited to my various needs/preferences for
under $500. (To be fair, I should add that I've not seen/evaluated Alan
Lewis' viewer http://members.home.net/3-d/projects/35mmvwr/35mmviewer.htm ,
which was recently offered on this list. But at over $250 cost, it is not
an option for me right now.)

Thanks,

Boris
