P3D polaroid 3-D hack

Anyone have any information on how to convert current run of the mill
polaroids to stereo?  Either through a beam splitter of some sort or
through linking two cameras in some way so that they fire at the same
time?

Resource links or other advice would be helpful.  Thanks.
