P3D I Failed the Viewmagic Sales Test

I consider myself to be an effective teacher, trainer and demonstrator.
I showed the Viewmagic to a friend who became so excited to shoot
stereo. I taped 2 disposables together for him and explained ( and
physically demonstrated) how to compose the shot through a single
viewfinder, sync the shutters manually etc. I also explained the obvious
" do's and don'ts" ....near object distances, flash limitations, fast
moving objects etc. To my utter amazement my friend found a training
loop-hole. You see....every shot was taken with a vertical
composition....right camera on top, and left camera on the bottom! I
said..."What in the hell were you thinking here? Did I not show you how
to do this?!" His reply...."yeah but that didn't make sense cause you
put one picture over-top the other to use the viewer, right?!" Now you
see why major mfg. companies won't produce a stereo print camera? Cause
it will only work some of the time! :-) Can you imagine the sales
returns at your local Wal-Mart? :-)
