And I offer a hearty hear! Hear!

My next door neighbor is a sculptor. I had been taking flatties for him for
awhile
when I started shooting 3-D. He had been having trouble placing his work in
juried shows. The flatties just didn't work -- he had to pack up 2 or 3
pieces in tons a blankets, wooden crates, etc., and then had to drag them in
on a dolly .... What a Pain!

The first 3D set we did for a competition went to the selection jury in the
form of 3d slides, packed with a lighted viewer and a pack of batteries. All
three pieces were accepted enthusiastically and two of them won prizes. All
the judges were _amazed_ by the 3D pictures. All three pieces sold.

3D is a natural for documenting all sorts of dimensional art, ranging from
monumental sculpture to lawn ornaments, and people love it! It's a great way
for sharing art in pictures.
