The fact that it is signed by Mr. Morgan I suspect has something to do
with this high price.  A regular copy of "The Stereo Realist Manual"
by Morgan and Lester goes for $50 to $100.

The "Owner's Manual" is a small booklet while the "Realist Manual"
is a hardcover 400 page book... If you are looking for a Manual only
and you are not a collector, consider the "Updated copy of the
Owner's Manual" by DrT for $10.  Also need I mention the *new* Realist
manual by DrT?  A perfect supplement to the oringinal "Manual", 130
pages with over 230 pictures, covering things like how to use the
Realist *today* with faster films w/shorter leader, how to correct
the infamous leak, how to align the rangefinder and how to make 
custom filters, among other topics... Only $35 pp from the author!
