Hi,
I have a Veriscope F40, and it sounds like the same type mentioned in
the previous post. It has the two prongs on the upper side for the
flash.
Some people have spent more than $100 getting it altered to work with a
modern flash. The synch is the biggest problem. So, I never had it
done, and I don't recomend it. What I do is (and I know that this
heavilly limits what situations you can take a shot in), is I use my
flash meter (which can atach via a pc cord to the flash) to set off the
flash. I put the Veriscope on a tripod, set it for 1 sec exposure, and
then turn off all the lights after having composed the shot. Then
release the shutter and imediately fire the flash. Of course you could
set off the flash if it has a button on it for testing as well.
