P3D Slide in NSA Auction

George Themelis asked what was the subject of the stereo slide that I
entered in the NSA Auction which sold for $40.
The subject was former President Nixon.  I copied it from a Ray Bohman
color stereo card that he exposed in 1989 while both he and President
Nixon were in China.  It is probably the best picture ever made of Mr
Nixon, I THINK, and the fact that he posed for Ray makes it even more
interesting.  I also made Black & White stereo card copies of this card,
plus another of Ray"s cards - President Jerry Ford at a golf tournament
press conference.  I put both these cards in the NSA Auction and the
Nixon card sold for $40, same price as the slide, the Ford went for $15. 
The money from these three sales will be donated to the NSA Oliver
Wendell Holmes Stereoscopic Research Library, in Eileen Bohman's name.

One of the female members of the Bill C Walton Celebrity Stereo Cards fan
club (whose membership will fit comfortably in a Geo Metro) at the Green
Bay Convention suggested that I make stereo slide copies of some of my
celebrity cards and offer them for sale.  Who knows, there may be someone
out there other than her who would like to have a BW stereo slide of Lori
Martin (who went over Nigagara Falls in 1995,  One time Presidential
Candidate Gary Hart, Baseball Hall of Fame Pitcher Phil Niekro or former
Heavyweight Boxing Champ Floyd Patterson  etc.  If I decide to go this
route then I will put some of them in next year's Auction

Again I encourage participation in the NSA Auction by more contemporary
Stereographers.
