P3D C3D - no insults to the lists were intended

I read Dan Shelley's response:

"Too bad you had to wrap it up in an insulting message. This is the kind
of stuff that give P3D a bad reputation. There have only been a few,
simple messages about these folks, more out of curiosity that anything.
Ther was nothing so specific as to demand this type of response IMHO.
Whether you meant it to be harsh or not, I can assure you that it reads that 
way.

and no insults to this list were intended.  What I gleamed from the previous 
exchanges was a degree of subjectivity that I thought bordered on 
misrepresentation (of the aims, abilities, future of this company).  So, I 
made a case based on my direct-visit experience.  I regret anyone feeling 
insulted by what I intended as 'provocative' at best.  And Dan, you can be 
assured that I have respect for your efforts over the years as well.

It was enlightening to read Bob Weir's reponse, as it clarified for me his 
previous comments. I have received PERSONAL correspondences from people on 
this C3D subject, as well as the subject of 'who made the first 3D film', 
and views about the industry.  Many of those correspondences contain 
opinions, statements, facts that should be available for all to read (but 
can't be, since the authors have not chosen to include them in the list)!

I personally welcome strong opinions, disclosures and warnings from people  
about their experiences. (There's nothing worse than 'falling into a hole' 
when simple warning may have averted it.  That's why we communicate.)  In 
the case of C3D, and based on my experiences, I gave them a positive read.  
If there are others with contrasting views, then I'm sure we'll read about 
it.  In any case, this list provides a broad base of experience and views.  
No disrepsect intended.
