I have noticed on this viewer that the interocular distance changes when
you switch between binocular mode and viewer mode.  Perhaps the problem
with viewing is that the io distance is too narrow for your eyes.  I'll
have to find my son's and study the reel viewing in more detail.  My
biggest criteria was that he enjoyed viewing the dinosaurs that came
with the unit.
