P3D Stitz, Miida beamsplitters
Hi!
Have any of you had experience using the Stitz or Miida
beamsplitters? I'm particularly interested in the possibility
of using one with an 85mm lens--something like this is supposed
to be possible because the mirrors in these splitters are
adjustable. I'm also investigating the possibilities of going
the other direction and adjusting the mirrors for closeups
with a 50mm or possibly a 40mm lens.
I've done a lot of shots with my Pentax and Stereotach splitters,
but neither of these is adjustable.
I'm also considering getting a Porter or Franka splitter and
replacing the second-surface mirrors with front-surface.
These are supposed to adjust for closeups but I don't think
they'll do telephoto.
Thanks for any thoughts you have.
