P3D Film Performance
Right on with balderdash!
Pro film degrades faster than drug store stuff because of less retardent.
All films degrade at elevated temperatures and with time.
Kodak specifies that their distributors store film at 58 deg. F or lower.
I have observed that holding film at freezing temps preserves quality beyond
holding at 40 to 58 deg.
I use only pro films and find it essential that hese be kept cold!
Even when held at freezing temps films will out gas and degrade over time
