P3D lenticular vs silver

A member of our Rocky Mountain Stereo Club brought in a Radiant flat
surface silver screen and we did a side by side comparison with our
regular lenticular screen. We all agreed that the flat screen was
noticably brighter and sharper head on but that light fall off from the
sides was much greater. I thought it was odd that he brought in the flat
screen to try but later found the same screen advertised in a 50's photo
magazine. And it was being sold for stereo projection. I would recommend
the Radiant for small group projection where everyone can get a good
seat in front. I believe they are next to impossible to find though.
