P3D Copying in Kodachrome

I tend to try to cover all bases - in this case, I'd look at
getting a Kodachrome copy made *and* getting it scanned at
high resolution onto CD-ROM. (And if it's *reallY* important)
maybe getting a Black & White copy made onto archival quality
fiber based photo paper. 

Also, depending on how paranoid you are (I'm pretty paranoid having
lived in various sections of the country with hurricanes, tornados,
earthquakes, range fires, etc) the cost of a second copy is 
sometimes fairly small (ie, after the "setup" charge), so one could
keep the copies off site (as I do with data backup tapes) - maybe
in a bank safety deposit box if you already had one.

George ("throw 99% out") and I ("can't get the closet door closed")
tend to have different points of view on this  :-)

I'm probably this way a bit because of working with 19th century
materials of various kinds fairly extensively (see my posting on the
Kelton Ramps URLs re: polarized light).
