I meant standing ON the North Rim, as a previous post had suggested that
the best lighting from the South Rim vantage would be at sunset, but the
North Rim has also been suggested as more pleasant from a smaller crowds
standpoint. (The last time I was at the Grand Canyon it was in April and
the road to the North Rim was not yet open, so I have not been there.)
