P3D Clarification/dwWIjs MACRO is not a beam splitter

I am potsing this to clarify something I often observe as mistaken
identity. It seems more often than not (and many times at NSA this year!)
, people confuse the deWIjs MACRO STEREO attachments for single SLRS, and
respond by saying

...."oh, I see thats....a beam splitter attachment."

The deWijs MACRO is NOT a beam splitter, but rather, a unit that can be
easily put on your single SLR camera, as it is a lens attachment, to create
half -frame utlra close up stereo pairs of very small subjects.

The Pentax and Franka beam splitters that often seem to be compared to the
deWIjs are not MACRO stereo attachments.

deWIjs MACROS are attachments with two very small F60 lenses that are
placed in a single lens housing, depending on the model...the lens base
ranges from 10-15mm and the field of coverage for subjet matter is from 18
x 24 to 72 x 96mm.

Thats all for now!
