They also use non-standard (that is, non-NTSC) systems of relatively
high resolution and truly flat screen monitors to achieve quality
roughly equal to that of the recording film...

I believe Kodak makes one of the better ones and it sees a good deal of
use with top end motion picture restoration projects...
