"Flush-cleaning" is what the experts usually recommend. For the
Realist, first remove the lens board. Then use compressed air to
clean dirt from around the shutter area. Then spray the shutter timer
with a cleaning spray (there was some discussion on this in photo-3d...
this solution should evaporate quickly and leave no residue). You
should avoid lubrication in the shutter area.
