Good tips... thanks Gregg (Podnar). I'd also add maximize your contrast, as
your monitor is capable fo about 4-1/2 f/stops of contrast range and the
slide film can handle about 6 stops, and check your white point to get as
close to 5500 K as possible.

Ralph Johnston of Photo-3D and the Stereo New England group did some
monitor shots a while back; I believe he also posted some advice to the
list which can be found through the archives. If I'm remembering correctly,
he did them in medium format; I remember seeing them and they looked better
than I expected, helped I think by the lower magnification of MF stereo...
