P3D flash painting

Nathan,

For very large subjects, like buildings, you may be better off painting
with a continuous light source, like one of those million candlepower
quartz spotlight things.  Particularly because you are shooting bulb
setting anyway, you likely do not need the "stopping power" of flash.
Compared to continuous sources, flashes do not actually put out that much
light overall, they just put out relatively more light for a very short
period of time.
