I looked around and found a URL for such modifications:
http://evermore.com/3d/loreo_mods.html

A couple nights ago, my family had a visit with the head of Taipei's
stereo society (of which I am not currently a member, been toying with
the idea of joining despite my poor Chinese language skills) and he
looked at both of our Loreos. We came to the conclusion that the
specific problems my cameras are having would be more trouble than their
worth to modify ourselves. We'll take them to the factory when next we
go to Hong Kong. Grrrr.

Yes. :-) My five-year-old daughter was scouring the place in search of
anything Pokemon -- the previous year there were quite a few but this
year not much at all. When Kaye saw the girls dressed as "Ash" and
"Nurse Honey" she bee-lined right towards them. We have been inundated
with Pokemon stuff of late, we now have every commercial VHS available
in Chinese as the hunger for these things never ceases. :-) Did notice
from the episode lists that we have a couple episodes that were "deemed
unsuitable to US viewers" that weren't translated for the English
version.
