All,

I am looking for a suitable method for capturing 3D infomation of large 
scale objects.

My interest is architecturally based, and if there is such a device, I would 
like to reproduce whole room environments in there entirity.

To date, I have found information on desktop devices (3D Scannners) for the 
aquisition of data for single objects.

I would be very interested to hear if anyone knows of a product which is 
capable of capturing large scale objects in 3D, or if there is any current 
research in this area.
