P3D Aerial hyperstereo

Speaking of hyperstereo...
Well, looks like I'm going to be able to go up in a plane and take some
panoramic aerial hypers of my hometown (Chicago) before I move away next
month. I plan on using a single camera (most likely an old Canon F-1 or
A-1) with motordrive. I figure that I'll need 8 to 10 sequential pictures
of each view to get the best match. The archives have a nice discussion
of this topic that gave me some good hints as to how fast to shoot, but I
still have a few questions. Of course, i bet that I'm not thinking of
something that someone who's tried this before can fill me in on! I want
to get this right, because with the expense there will only be 45 minutes
in the air and no second chance for a long while.
Would Kodachrome 25 be appropriate assuming that the day is nice and
sunny? Or would K64 be a safer bet.
I've got the choice of going up at 8 AM, 10 AM or Noon. I'm just looking
for "normal" skyline shots. I figure that noontime shots will do the best
for this, because the sun will be high in the sky. Am I wrong here?
I've been shooting with a Kodak stereo for about 5 years, but when it
comes to full frame stereo, I'm pretty much a rank amateur. If I'm
doing 2x2 mounting, should I trust Kodak to mount these, or should I mount
them myself?
Thanks!
