Knowing Portland Like I do, if there is no hurry as to when the photoshot is
to be done, Then why dose he not shot it in front of the auditorium around
3:00PM so that there is direct sunlight onto the front steps of the
building. At 3:00 or so in the afternoon there would not be any shadows from
the taller building up the hill like Portland State Collage or other
building that may cast a shadow on the front of the building. And if he is
going to shot inside there should be plenty of light from the front ceiling
floods, the overhead stage floods, and the foot lights. By doing either of
thees I would think he would not be so concerned about the shutter speed.
Of curse I do know that summer in Oregon is the second Tuesday in July and
that is already past. Good luck to him in any case.
