Hello all,
THanks for all the great onlist and off list info about my camera
problems. For now my sollution is going to be to keep using my
Veriscope until I can find another cammera. I actually managed to rig
a pc connector to my Veriscope, so now It can be hooked to a flach, or
my strobe set up. It appears to sync even at 250th/sec! And it was
easy and only cost $5!
I just got some info on the newest Fuji Pro slide film. It is called
fuji proviaF 100. I will be ordering some tomorrow if I can find
someone that has it already (it is really new, and no local stores had
it). I will report back to the group if all the hype is true. Fuji
claims that based on an RMS grain # scale that Fuji Velvia 50ASA has an
RMS of 9 and that the proviaF100 has an RMS of 8! If this is true,
then it should have the grain (or apparent lack of grain) as a 25ASA
film while still being able to shoot at 100ASA, or pushed to 200ASA it
should be about as grainy as 50-100ASA film. I love astia 100ASA, and
don't think it is grainy, but it raits an RMS 10. The less grain the
better as far as I am concerned, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.
