The SLR RBTs with 75mm separation are the only 35 mm stereo
cameras I know of which are compatible with commercial mounting.
This is more important for prints than slides, I would think.

There is a problem with a vertical format stereo camera...
I cannot think of a way to run one roll of film through
it. Also, connecting the shutters might be a problem too.
If we are forced to run two rolls then it resembles of
two regular cameras back to back. And, as a matter
of fact, it is relatively easy to put two cameras back
to back and get a reasonably small interocular (around
75 mm). This is a good and economical solution for many
people. But when we put the cameras side-to-side then
we get a very large interocular distance (in the order
of 6 inches). That's what is driving the urge to get
an RBT camera. A resonable interocular in a horizontal
format.
