Greg Erker write:
  Another Pentax mailing list member
is a Nikon shooting pro, but he bought
a Pentax camera body just to be able to
use the 43/1.9 lens. Here is what he
wrote:
"My conclusion: The 43/1.9 is an
     outstanding lens. The sharpness and
     the flare-free performance really amaze
me, even until now. But there has never
been any lens that can do everything
perfectly. Perfection comes from us who
     use the lens."*

So if I had the money and were going
for a stereo SLR these would be the lenses
for me. And the S1 for my Point & Shooting.

Greg.....this is close to my desert island setup, 59mm S1A and a 75mm X2V2
or X4 w/43mm fixed SMC's, however.....for certain shots, I would not mind
having a 28-70 zoom stup (Pentax SMC FA's or Tokinas).....to keep
myself....and camera, out of range of jaws and fangs and claws (seriously!)
Regar-D-D-D-s.....and in the wild-d-d-s of Maine (vacation!)
