Well, good argument, but with a full frame pair you
can always use a Realist format mount and have much
more freedom in composition. I used quite a bit of
Realist format mounts to mount my full frame pictures
from Greece. Yes, some subjects are better framed
in the nearly-square Realist mounts but it is fun
to shift the chips around to find the most pleasing
arrangement, something that is not possible with the
Realist format chips. Waste of film? Sure! That's
what you pay for having the option.
